YALLFest is a public two-day annual young adult book festival in Charleston, South Carolina that is the largest of its kind in the South. The festival was founded in 2011 by Jonathan Sanchez of the Charleston bookstore Blue Bicycle Books along with authors Kami Garcia, Margaret Stohl and Melissa de la Cruz. This highly-anticipated annual event for booklovers of all ages, each year YALLFest Book Festival connects readers with authors, comic book writers, Youtubers and Booktokers for a weekend in Charleston, SC full of author signings, panels, and special events.
The YALLFest audience is a devoted and passionate group of kids who take books and their authors to heart.
As a non profit our mission is to improve literacy through great Young Adult literature. We bring renowned and inspiring authors to an under-served group, including underprivileged and minority teen readers in the South.
YALLFest is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
