The Melrose II "I Have a Dream" Program is one of six sites to the "I Have Dream" Program Foundation-NYC Metro. We are a long term drop out prevention program for at risk youth located in the South Bronx. The "I Have a Dream" Foundation provides educational and recreational support to a group of 9th graders known as "Dreamers" that live in the Melrose Community Housing Project. The Foundation will follow and provide support to the "Dreamers" until the high school graduation, where upon graduation will receive a college scholarship.
