The chapter manages philanthropic programs staffed by member volunteers. In the fiscal year 2024-2025, we made a difference in the lives of 8,759 people in the Conejo Valley by providing support through our community programs.

OPERATION SCHOOL BELL

Assistance League of Conejo Valley’s largest philanthropic program is Operation School Bell which has a lasting impact on children in our community. Here’s how some of our programs transform lives:

• School Clothes: We provide new school clothing to children in need living in Conejo Valley, Moorpark and Simi Valley. These clothes boost confidence, improve attendance, and support academic performance.
• Promoting Literacy: Our program fosters a love of reading at home and in the classroom, helping students build essential skills for success.
• Vision for the Future: We offer eye exams, corrective lenses and frames to children in need, ensuring they can see clearly and reach their full potential.

THRIFT SHOP:

The Assistance League Thrift Shop, 2860 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd, helps to fund the chapter’s philanthropic programs. Compassionate, energetic volunteers are welcome whether you're a seasoned thrifter or just love helping others. Your time directly supports local programs for children and families in need.
