EMPOWER MINDS by providing foodservice training for unemployed men and women and community service opportunities for youth and adults. BUILD COMMUNITIES by providing working examples, innovative solutions, and shared technology to a cooperative and effective national network of community kitchens.

DC Central Kitchen prepares over 5,000 meals each day with donated food from area food service businesses. DC Central Kitchen also trains unelmployed men and women in the culinary arts.
