Merrimack Academy for the Performing Arts, Inc. d/b/a/ Merrimack Hall Performing Arts Center, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit performing arts center in Huntsville, Alabama. Our mission is to provide performance and educational opportunities to the area's emerging and established artists. Founded in 2007 after a $3 million renovation, Merrimack Hall is now home to a 302-seat theatre, 3,000 square foot dance studio, and features an annual performance season of touring Off-Broadway productions, concerts and comedians. Additionally, Merrimack Hall provides outreach to the community through the Johnny Stallings Arts Program, which provides performing arts education to children and teens with special needs.
Past performances at Merrimack Hall include: Billy Bob Thornton, Menopause the Musical, Jon Reep, Henry Cho, Melora Hardin in Concert, Dionne Warwick, and many more.
