The Roycroft Campus is a National Historic Landmark, considered one of the original centers of the American Arts & Crafts Movement. It began as a printing business by Elbert Hubbard in 1897, and evolved into a self-sufficient community of over 500 artists and craftspeople that embodied a progressive mindset and social ideals. Today, the Roycroft Campus Corporation works to preserve and restore the Campus and its buildings, and offers educational programming, tours, artisan classes, lectures, festivals, and events to further promote and preserve the historic Roycroft Campus and the ideals of the Arts & Crafts movement.
