The mission of Steps for Kids is exposing underprivileged children to ideas and experiences that will inspire them to improve their futures.In winter we offer indoor educational and cultural programs in a low income housing project, publishing these for the neighboor hood and town. In summer we are planting native plants around a natural vernal pond on the property that will help purify and conduct into the ground runoff from 12 buildings, while while they stabilize eroding banks. This has been recommended by the City Water Engineer for the health of this natural vernal pond.
