Our mission is to provide environmental education programs and services that promote stewardship of the environment and further the capacity of learners to make informed decisions. To accomplish its mission, CEE supports programs and partnerships for environmental education. CEE administers four leading programs in environmental education: Project WILD, a wildlife focused conservation education program for K-12 educators and their students; Growing Up WILD, an early childhood education program that builds on a child's sense of wonder about nature; Flying WILD, which encourages schools to work closely with conservation organizations, community groups, and businesses involved with birds to implement school bird festivals and bird conservation projects; and WET in the City, an urban environmetnal education program that focuses on water resources.
