BLOOMINGTON SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA INC

Peter Jacobi of the Herald-Times calls the all-volunteer Bloomington Symphony Orchestra “a gift to the community.” From light-hearted holiday pops shows and children’s concerts to the great masterpieces of orchestral music, our programs educate, enlighten, and entertain audiences of every age and background. In addition to performances, the BSO provides a number of innovative educational outreach programs for area youth, including Meet the Instruments, the Children's Instrument Recovery Program (ChIRP), a Youth Concerto Competition, and side-by-side performances with local youth ensembles.
