The Minnesota Association of Resource Conservation and Development Councils (MARC&D) represents ten Resource Conservation and Development (RC&D) Councils in Minnesota. RC&D Councils provide a unique process to develop economic, natural, and social resources in ways that improve the economy, environment, and quality of life. There are RC&D Councils servicing all but the seven county Metro Area of Minnesota. The ten councils appoint members to serve on the Association’s board of directors.
MARC&D provides leadership and direction at the state level, offering training, Council capacity building, networking, and state wide rural development strategies. Further, MARC&D provides a unified voice when interacting with agency, corporate and legislative persons.
