KickStart-International www.kickstart.org is an award-winning, nonprofit social enterprise with a mission to empower millions of farmers in Africa to lift themselves out of poverty. KickStart designs and distributes low cost irrigation tools and trains vulnerable smallholder farmers in profitable irrigated farming, enabling them to grow, harvest and sell high value crops year-round and to adapt to climate change. With headquarters in Nairobi, Kenya, they work in 17 countries across sub-Saharan Africa.
