Warm Namaste to everyone of you,

I am Amrit, the founder of Edventure Nepal. I was a teacher before, in my working years, I saw a lot of poor children from remote villages suffer from a vicious cycle of illiteracy brought by poverty. I have a dream to try my best to provide education and basic needs for orphans.

Our organization is then established to serve this purpose Located in the heart of Pokhara,We aim to serve as an orphanage for underprivileged children and works to promote healthy physical, emotional and mental growth as well as providing basic needs to ensure each child's comfort. Education is our main focus to our children so they can contribute to the society when they grow up.We believe that through educating our underprivileged youth, we can help bring a brighter future for children, their families and communities. Any help from you make a difference to our children's life and we appreciate any ideas to improve our new orphanage.

Possible Volunteer Activities : - Prepare meals for children with our helper - Conduct teaching classes to our children. For example, English music,dance arts and crafts or anything you think its good for our children (2 hours in the morning or after school)- Pick up and drop our children before and after school

Since children need time to be familiar with each volunteer, we prefer you to stay at least one week but we discuss possibilities. Just write and ask.

Pokhara is a base for trekking in Annapurna region and I was a trekking guide before, I am happy to tell you tips around the stunning mountain and beautiful lakeside. We can also provide volunteer certificate if you help us more than one month so it will be a good reference for your upcoming volunteer or other opportunities.If you have any questions, please feel free to write me.
