UE RESEARCH AND EDUCATION FUND

The United Electrical, Radio and Machine Workers of America (UE) was the first union ever chartered by the CIO. UE is an independent national union with members in 26 US states and a proud, militant history of progressive political action, cross-border solidarity and democratic, rank-and-file trade unionism. Our primary missions are to advance workers' rights through organizing, to lead an aggressive struggle to better the wages and living conditions of the working class, and to pursue a greater measure of justice on our jobs, in our society and throughout the world. The UE Research and Education Fund is a non-profit organization which does not engage in labor organizing, but focuses on related education, research, coalition building and community organizing.
