The Salem Pantry’s mission is to eradicate hunger in the Salem community by providing residents in need with nutritious foods in an atmosphere of dignity and respect. The Salem Pantry is currently in a growth phase as an organization, having hired its first ever full-time staff in the past year, an Executive Director, Manager of Operations and Food Warehouse Coordinator. Combined with an engaged Board of Directors, the small Pantry staff works closely with partner organizations and countless volunteers to operate its programs. Salem Pantry quickly and strategically expanded services during the COVID-19 crisis to expand our program reach and impact in Salem and the Greater North Shore during the pandemic, which has significantly grown our organizational profile.
