Through education and one-on-one support,Chicago Notre Dame-AmeriCorps members strive to empwoer individuals facing economic hardship. We teach and tutor children and youth, teach English as a Second Language,help men and women transition from homelessness into mainstream society, and recruit community volunteers to do similar work.
