Mississippi Youth Justice Project (MYJP) is a non-profit public interest law and policy organization based in Jackson, MS. We use public policy advocacy, legal representation, and community organizing to ensure that Mississippi’s juvenile justice system is accountable to the families it serves and the taxpayers it protects. Our work covers a range of activities including public education, media advocacy, training, technical assistance, administrative and legislative advocacy, and litigation. Our goal is to work collaboratively with juvenile justice stakeholders to ensure positive outcomes for families, children and communities.
