Housing Opportunity Development Corporation

HODC is a community-based nonprofit developer of permanent low- and moderate-income housing serving Chicago's northern suburbs. Our goal is to expand the stock of fair housing that is affordable to low- and moderate-income people. We primarily develop, own and manage affordable rental housing with over 600 units to date. We also consult on affordable housing developments and provide homebuyer counseling. We take a holistic approach to development that includes building welcoming communities and creating opportunities for collaboration with municipalities, employers, tenants and neighbors.
