The Indypendent is an award-winning, independent newspaper published 12 times a year in New York City. With a print and online readership of more than 200,000, this free newspaper is produced by a volunteer network of writers, designers, photographers and artists who perform many of the tasks that are vital to the newspaper’s production—from generating content, photography and design to distribution, fundraising and website management.
