URBAN TRIAGE

Urban Triage, Inc. is a Black-led, Black-centered nonprofit organization based in Madison, Wisconsin, dedicated to empowering and uplifting Black families and communities. Founded on the principles of transformational education, self-discovery, and community-led advocacy, Urban Triage provides programs, services, and leadership training that address housing insecurity, agricultural access, youth development, mental health, and cultural education. Through a trauma-informed framework, Urban Triage equips individuals with the tools to navigate systemic barriers, heal from generational trauma, and build sustainable, liberated lives. Our work is rooted in expanding self-awareness, cultivating leadership, and promoting collective action that drives real, lasting change.
