The Poverty Institute

The Poverty Institute’s mission is to develop and promote policies to improve the economic security of low- and modest-income Rhode Islanders and ensure tax and budget policies are fair and adequate to fund vital public services. We accomplish this mission through research, policy analysis, public education, and advocacy.
