300 Letters is uniquely positioned to fulfill our vision of reducing recidivism and intergenerational incarceration. Our co-founders experienced first hand the lack of support available while in prison and during reentry into society. They understand the challenges our population faces and are committed to addressing them. Having a team who genuinely understands the characteristics and needs of our communities is essential to achieving our vision, therefore we employ life coaches and licensed mental health providers who are culturally sensitive and have the unique experience and skills needed to work with individuals impacted by incarceration. 300 Letters stands out as the only organization offering child-care assistance to returning parents, allowing them to focus on their health, job stability, and self-improvement. We recognize that the only way to achieve our vision is by taking a holistic, collaborative, systems-building approach that supports individuals and families alike.
