    Mission The substantial adverse impact of cancer diagnosis and treatment on education has been extensively studied. Despite this, the educational needs of children and adolescents with cancer have received insufficient attention. MiCaringHeart is non-profit organization [501(c)(3)] aiming to alleviate this issue by providing free tutoring assistance to children undergoing treatment for cancer and bone marrow transplant.

    Outsmarting Cancer ( A MiCaringHeart initiative) is the the only program in Michigan dedicated to providing free, individualized online tutoring and educational support for children undergoing treatment for Cancer and Bone Marrow Transplant. Our mission is to help bridge the gap in their education, enabling them to remain on par with their peers during and after treatment and foster long-lasting self-confidence socially and academically.

    The correlation between educational achievement, emotional well-being and future financial stability underscores the urgent need to provide educational support for children in our community fighting cancer.
