Key Tech Labs is a 501c3 nonprofit with a mission to build self-sustaining communities by equipping minorities with skills in S.T.E.M. in order to thrive in the workplace of tomorrow. We empower communities to repair, repurpose, upgrade, and advance the world in which we live through curriculums built on sustainable learning systems, integrating peer-to-peer mentoring with project based learning. Through the art of storytelling , students learn how to program by assessing everyday problems, drafting a solution, and designing a prototype to solve issues themselves, and finally, to share their solutions with the world. Key Tech Labs serves as a direct pipeline for talented, diverse, and underrepresented IT entrepreneurs to fully engage in the workforce of the Digital Era.
