Located in a historic section of the Kensington/Fishtown area of Philadelphia, Beacon is a neighborhood faith community that invites all people to grow together through arts, learning, and faith.
Our work and programs provide resources and space in which discovery-work and creative expression can happen and community can grow.
Our primary programs include:
- an afterschool program that involves literacy based in storytelling and voicefinding through visual art
- an evening open art studio for adults that cultivates community through shared art-making
- a weekly worship gathering that is grounded in telling, hearing, and remembering stories that are transformative in our efforts to bring about and be good news to our corner of Kensington/Fishtown
