The Single MOM KC

The Single Mom KC is a faith-based nonprofit that walks alongside single-moms and their children pouring hope and encouragement into them. The Single Mom KC invites single-moms into a community where they will meet and build friendships with other moms. We do that through our programs such as Pursuit, held the first Wednesday of each month, and several workshops throughout the year such as Victim to Victorious, Raising Victorious Kids, and Healing from Your Heart Wounds. Our programs and workshops center on emotional wholeness, spiritual growth, life management skills and parenting support. We typically offer a free meal with each program and childcare/children's program for infants--5th grade.

The Single Mom KC also offers the Clothed with Dignity Boutique where moms can "shop" at no cost. The boutique is stocked with new and gently used items and offers single-mothers an opportunity shop for clothing, shoes, handbags, jewelry and personal hygiene items. A supervised play area for children is available while moms shop.
