Social Innovators of America Association

The Social Innovators for Americans Association (SIAA) is a nonprofit, non-stock corporation in Virginia. As a 501(c)3 tax-exempt organization, the SIAA fulfills charitable, scientific, and educational purposes. We use Community-Based Social Innovation (CBSI) services to help high-poverty communities overcome the many systemic social issues that impeded upward social mobility. Unlike traditional charitable nonprofits or social movements, SIAA takes a strategic approach to address interrelated causes of social issues. The SIAA collaborates with community members, stakeholders, and trailblazing social innovators. Together we develop, implement, and eventually replicate bottom-up, win-win solutions to communities’ complex problems.
