ALEXANDRA L ROWAN FOUNDATION

The Rowan Foundation is dedicated to 1) improving awareness about the blood clot risks linked to women's reproductive health (estrogen-based contraception, pregnancy/childbirth, the treatment of menopause symptoms with hormones 2) educating women about their potential blood clot risk factors and the signs and symptoms of life-threatening blood clots and 3) providing information and resources to help women become their own best advocates relative to their reproductive health.

The Foundation recently recognized its 10th year working in the clotting community. During the past 10 years, the Foundation has create a spectrum of multi-media resources to help inform and inspire women, and we have conducted numerous outreach and education programs, reaching millions of women with potentially life-saving information each year.
