Missão
Artie J. Cannon Helping Hands of Henderson Mission is to allow the poor, frail elderly and those with disabling disorders to maintain independence by remaining in their own home. Helping Hands provides transportation to medical appointments, grocery stores and personal errands, as well as, delivering supplemental groceries each month. In accomplishing this mission, residents may avoid or postpone costly long-term, institutionalized care.
Sobre Nós
The purpose of Helping Hands is to provide transportation to seniors in Henderson, Nevada. Volunteers bring cheer and companionship to clients. Volunteers create and promote an understanding of Helping Hands and provide to the community a means of giving back to the seniors in our community. Volunteers utilize their own personal vehicle to transport clients and to deliver monthly pre-bagged grocery items to the senior community. Please note that we cannot accommodate anyone who is volunteering to complete community service hours.
