The SPCA of Texas was founded in 1938 and is still the leader in animal welfare for the state of Texas. Since the SPCA of Texas became a 'Reservation Required" organization, it never euthanizes for space and never turns an animal away because of their looks, age, breed or non-contagious treatable health condition based upon available space.
