World Childhood Foundation

Mission Statement

Every child has the right to a safe and happy childhood. In many places around the world, children are deprived of their most fundamental rights, due to poverty, inadequate education and social distress.

The mission of World Childhood foundation is to promote better living conditions for vulnerable and exploited children, and to give them the opportunity to grow up to become healthy, strong and responsible human beings. The current focus of project support centers on preventing sexual abuse and exploitation of children, especially assisting girls and young mothers.

World Childhood Foundation identifies, reviews and supports projects around the world that are aligned with the mission of the Foundation. The goal of the Foundation is accomplished by raising financial support from a variety of contributors and sources. We are collaborating closely with other international and local aid organizations to reach these goals.

World Childhood Foundation is established in Sweden, Brazil, Germany, and USA. Key efforts are directed towards assisting children in Belorus, Brazil, Cambodia, China, Estonia, Germany, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Ukraine, Moldova, Nepal, Russia,South Africa, Thailand, Sweden and the United States. Other areas and countries may be identified for future support.
