English 1 on 1

English 1 on 1 is a non-profit organization striving to break the language barrier worldwide. The ability to read, write, and speak fluently in English is a crucial component of living in countries all over the world. With an ever-increasing population of non-English speaking refugees and immigrants, the language barrier is becoming a prevalent issue. Our goal is to give students the resources they need to succeed in the workforce and have the ability to communicate all over the world as English is a universal language. To do this, we teach our students English by implementing vocabulary and engaging activities. Our lessons vary in skills taught as we have separate levels that are tailored to a student's English-learning level. We want our students to be able to share their identities and be comfortable in new environments.
