RIVER ROAD RESCUE SQUAD INC

The River Road Rescue Squad is a Basic Life Support (BLS) ambulance service headquartered in Piscataway, NJ. Founded in 1961 by residents driven by their desire to serve their community, we have continued our tradition of service through volunteerism to serve residents and visitors of Piscataway and the surrounding Greater Middlesex Area.

Our organization - which leve ra ges more than 60 years of in-field experience - is licensed by the NJ Department of Health - Office of Emergency Medical Services and is comprised completely of volunteers that operates 24/7/365 with a mix of in-station staff and scramble (recall) coverage to ensure that our patients and community receive the care they deserve.

In addition to emergent (9-1-1) BLS level ambulance service, we also provide specialty services for water and off-road rescue assignments and standby service for pre-scheduled events as well as for inclement weather/disasters as they arise.
