Response, Inc.

The mission of Response, Inc.as a Shenandoah County community organization is dedicated to preventing and helping people overcome the problems of sexual and domestic violence and other forms of abuse through outreach, advocacy, education and supportive services.

Response, Inc. has a life-changing impact on its clients by providing awareness and support for the cycle of abuse and the services in the program. Our services support our clients to achieve their goals of safety by assisting with their needs. The services include legal, financial, travel, 24x7 hotline, and housing needs. Response, Inc. provides safe shelter for clients in our own housing as well as other locations.

Response, Inc. is governed by a board of directors. The staff is comprised of positions that include legal advocacy, client advocacy, child advocacy, shelter supervision, and hotline support. There is also a very active volunteer program that assists with needs of the organization and clients.
