To promote wellness for people with personal challenges who can benefit from equine assisted activities in a safe and supportive environment.
Sobre Nós
Healing Strides is a non-profit 501 (c) 3 organization established in 1991. We are located on 22 acres with a professional staff, certfied instructors, trained volunteers, and a herd of 20+ horses. We are the only Premier Accredited Center with the Professional Association of Therapeutic Riding Int'l (PATH) in the Roanoke Valley. We offer therapeutic riding, hippotherapy, veterans program and drill team, EAGALA and mental health, US Pony club, forever young/seniors riding club, mentoring, PATH instructor in-training, community service, interships, able body riding/horsemanship skills, and we are also host the the Ferrum college Equestrian team.
