Liberation Institute

The Liberation Institute is a non profit organization in San Francisco dedicated to the support, study, and celebration of personal growth, healing, and freedom for all. The Institute has been founded by a group of creative counselors, therapists, social workers, and community activists in order to create a freestanding therapeutic model that integrates and promotes awareness, acceptance, social justice, diversity, community, and wellness.

We provide confidential and non judgmental counseling, consultations, psychotherapy, peer support, and workshops to individuals, couples, families, and groups. Our doors are open to anyone and everyone. If we can’t help you directly, we can give you information and referrals to someone who can. We have no hidden agenda. We are here to help.

All our services are provided on a true sliding scale basis. While we do have fees and suggested donations for most of our services, no one is ever turned away for lack of funds. Our sliding scale, therefore, starts at $1. Fees are discussed and determined on an individual basis.
