VADP is an independent, statewide citizensorganization dedicated to ending the death penalty in Virginia. VADP conducts educational programs, engages in media relations,communicates with and mobilizes its 4,000 members and supporters, organizes andconducts execution vigils, and lobbies the General Assembly concerninglegislation that relates to Virginia’s capital punishment laws.
