RSVP of San Francisco

RSVP of San Francisco encourages men and women 55+ to continue as active and contributing members of our community through meaningful volunteer service. Volunteering alleviates isolation, depression and loneliness and replaces those ills with social interaction, learning, and a significant contribution to the community. RSVP links members to a full range of volunteer opportunities within San Francisco. We work hand-and-hand with potential volunteers to carefully match their skills, interests, and location to a variety of volunteer jobs in community nonprofits. Whether it is sorting food at a local food bank, helping to plant a school garden, or leading musuem tours, there are opportunities in almost every neighborhood.Membership is open to those 55 and older. There are no dues. Members receive free accident insurance, personal liability, and excess auto liability insurance during their volunteer service.
