United Church of Christ Volunteer Ministries

The United Church of Christ (UCC) is a Protestant mainline denomination where diversity, inclusivity and love for all are emphasized. The love of God and love of neighbor are held closely together. The UCC has been a leader in fighting injustice within the United States and alongside mission partners around the world, embodying the phrase “God is still speaking.”

UCC Volunteer Ministries coordinates full-time volunteer opportunities for adults over 18 years placed in individual service settings. 21-35 years olds serve in Young Adult Service Communities for 11 month periods. Summer Communities of Service are intentional communities for 19-30 year olds for a 10 week period. UCC Volunteer Ministries also coordinates sites for group mission trip opportunities. It is part of the national setting of the United Church of Christ.
