Purpose: Help With Heart volunteers will receive monthly requests for their time and emergency alerts for projects that arise. Examples of projects include helping with large mailings, event organization, gift bag assembly and other duties as they arise.

Location: American Heart Association Office 1818 Patterson Street Nashville, TN 37203 The location may change due to events. Locations will always be listed in requests.

Key Responsibilities: • Reply to monthly or urgent email requests for help • Show up promptly for volunteer time committed • Finish all projects assigned to the best of your ability • Examples of projects include large mailings, event invitation assembly, gift bag assembly, event organization, event volunteering, etc.

Reports to: Project lead listed on monthly email

Length of appointment: Varies dependent upon listed project length and volunteer’s availability

Qualifications: Ability to do repetitive motion, ability to take direction and ability to complete projects. Other qualifications may be required as projects vary.

Age requirement: 13 years+

Dress code: typically casual, but varies per project
