Guitars for Vets is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization founded in 2007 and based in Milwaukee, WI. G4V provides 10 free guitar lessons and a new acoustic guitar to Veterans with PTSD, physical injuries and emotional distress in a structured program run by volunteers and in partnership with the Department of Veterans Affairs. Currently, there are more than 60 chapters serving hundreds of Veterans in more than 30 states.
