The Chin Institute of Social Science

CISS is a one-year, alternative education program that seeks to empower a new generation of Chin youth with a learning environment that fosters civic responsibility, political awareness, self-efficacy, and critical thinking. The program seeks to meet the diverse needs of Chin State with diverse and experiential pedagogical practices, which will ultimately produce well-rounded and capable students with the executive functioning to become leaders in their communities.
