Missão
At Gloria, we believe in the power of community to step in when institutional systems fall short, especially in times of crisis. Gloria connects patients traveling for abortion care with hosts who have vacancies in their lodging units, providing safe, welcoming spaces free of charge. As a grassroots organization, we are building a national network to reduce logistical barriers to abortion care. With privacy and security at the core of everything we do, we work to ensure that patients receive compassionate support in a trusted environment.
Sobre Nós
Gloria is the primary project of Indigo Bird, our umbrella nonprofit organization dedicated to harnessing the spirit of community to address urgent needs. While Indigo Bird’s mission is expansive-developing infrastructure and platforms that can be adapted to various issues-its current focus is exclusively on abortion access through Gloria.
Leveraging our secure software platform, our team connects patients with vetted lodging donors, transforming last-minute vacancies in AirBnBs and VRBOs into a network of assistance that would otherwise be inaccessible. By leveraging these in-kind donations, we amplify every dollar raised into as much as 20 times its value in patient support.
