The American Cancer Society's goal is to eliminate cancer as a major health problem by funding research and providing free services to cancer patients, their families and the public. Here in Central Texas, we have more than a dozen free programs for cancer patients and we have research grants in effect at UT-Austin, UT Health Science Center in San Antonio and in other institutions around the state. We also maintain a database of resources available to cancer patients, information on clinical trials and more. We are mission-driven, people-focused, and results-oriented!
