Amnesty International is a worldwide movement of members and activists who campaign for internationally recognized human rights for all. As a non-governmental organization, our supporters are outraged by human rights violations but inspired by hope for a better world. To obtain this goal, we work to improve human rights through campaigning and displays of international solidarity. Amnesty International has more than 3 million members and activists in more than 150 countries. We mobilize this support to act for justice on a wide range of issues while recognizing that human rights know no boundaries.
