About MotiveSpace:

MotiveSpace is a nonprofit property developer and advisory network in Portland, Oregon dedicated to supporting nonprofits, neighbors and community based organizations with design, building, planning and development services. MotiveSpace believes that building is a powerful tool for community development, and that buildings can contribute to the environmental, social, and financial well-being of the neighborhoods they’re a part of.

MotiveSpace generates revenue to support its mission by working with organizations, meaning that for large projects we do charge for our services. Because MotiveSpace is a nonprofit and an advisory network, however, we offer a heavily discounted scope of services to eligible projects. Depending on our capacity MotiveSpace also donates services to nonprofits; since forming MotiveSpace has provided over 20 organizations with donated services.
