Brothers On The Rise

Brothers on the Rise (BOTR) empowers boys and young men of color to achieve individual success, develop healthy relationships and contribute to a more just and equitable society. We accomplish this through direct services which serve male youth in Oakland aged 8-17 with academic support and college prep, leadership and career development, counseling and case management, environmental and parent education. We also contribute to systems change through training, technical assistance, research and writing which builds capacity for Bay Area schools and agencies to more effectively and equitably serve this population.
