Promises Kept Ministry

Providing Pastoral counseling and spiritual support services to individuals and families in need across the South Bronx, New York City, and beyond—sharing God’s love, faith, and healing with all who seek help.

Promises Kept Ministry, Inc. is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization founded by Rev. Dr. Juanita Lopez‑Kump. It began in a small office in the Bronx and now operates a dedicated facility to provide Pastoral counseling and support.

We serve individuals, couples, families, teens and children. Our services include pre-marital, marital, family and teen counseling; reconciliation assistance for divorce, custody and family disputes; support groups for issues such as codependency, depression and anger; and training in Christian counseling.

Although we are based in the South Bronx, our services extend to the City of New York and beyond — including international reach.

Our values are rooted in faith. We believe that emotional, psychological and spiritual health are deeply connected, especially in communities facing physical and financial challenges. We hold that anyone in need, regardless of religion or location, is welcome.
