Started by co-founders Dr. Brett Levitzke, Medical Director of VERG and Board President of Positive Tails, and Erin Johnson, a Development Director with fifteen years of experience, as well as a Positive Tails Board Member, PT hosts a three-pronged mission to help people who cannot afford veterinary care for their animals with a good prognosis due to a temporary financial hardship, assist with medical treatments for animals who are victims of abuse as well as the prosecution of the abuser, and to help the stray animal population in part by a spay and neuter program working with partnered Trap Neuter Release groups.
