National Sports Center For The Disabled

For more than 50 years, the National Sports Center for the Disabled has focused on “abled.” We have never been daunted by what can’t be done. We are driven by what can be. We’ve led the world in discovering what is possible with innovative equipment, expertise, passion, persistence and an unwavering commitment to seeing the “able” in everyone.

Here, we are in awe of our participants’ ability to move past their circumstance and tackle life at full speed. Their ability to go faster, harder, stronger and with more enthusiasm than some of us ever experience in life. Their ability to zig when life zags and to adapt to the world in ways most of us only wish we could.

By rethinking ability, we instill a spark of “what if” in people who haven’t realized what they’re capable of. Helping them discover their abilities helps them redefine how they approach life. And that helps families, friends, and the greater community realize that we are all more similar than we are different. We are each navigating the world with whatever abilities we have. It’s what we do with what we have that defines us.
