The mission of Southeast Seattle Senior Center is
to promote the emotional, social and physical well being of aging adults.
We provide a variety of programs and activities designed to enhance the lives
of seniors in our community.
The Community Dining program is looking for
volunteers to help with lunch service. Our center serves scratch cooked
lunches and provides a great opportunity for seniors to form new friendships
and renew old ones. Our community lunch is where seniors support each other in
an informal but important way. Jump in and join our team to bring a smile to a
senior’s face and lunch to the table! We need help with kitchen prep, serving,
dishwashing and registration.
This is a great way to earn some experience for
a resume or service learning for school.
